That’s not bad! I have been looking at MR2's a lot lately. I think I would still prefer a turbo though. I also have heard parts are hard to come by...
Or you can drop the 1ME-FE v6 from a Camery in that thing. That would be sweet

I feel like it would be fine to learn with a cheap NA but a 2GR swap would be even better if it would fit. The MZ engine is a bit smaller though.

Being in Tennessee and it being black I’m worried about the AC though. I’m a baby.

They are pretty sweet cars, there is a pristine AW11 that gets street parked near my local grocery store.

The allure of a mid engined, rwd car has been strong recently.

Nah, that’s totally understandable. There was no way I was buying a black car when I lived in Houston.

Luckily the LS runs like a champ for DD purposes but it’s always just barely to hot and humid

Touché. No country stars with a Veyron for you though

It’s really just an architecture choice. If I want to walk around my house ass-naked, I’d rather be in the house you posted.

Haha very true. This area also goes for the more traditional southern house style. This isn’t a Washington or California.

I’ll be the dissenting voice of caution.
At $2,750, that car better be in good working order. The car idles high. Temp gauge, maybe? Possibly an easy fix. Possibly something more sinister. Parking brake doesn’t work? Maybe it’s the wire, probably nothing serious.
Transmission is slipping out of gear? This is a major red flag for me. This could be a relatively easy fix, or it could be a $1k+ repair.

Luckily my dad has the Toyota shop and is a Master Tech for Toyota. Free PPI and diagnostics. I might talk to him in the next couple days and make it a winter project for myself
