$20 worth?

Don’t Miss This Prime Discount on 11/18!

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

For one-day only, eligible new Prime members can join Amazon Prime for $79 (normally $99) and save $20 on your first year’s membership in celebration of The Grand Tour launch.

I’ve been putting off getting Prime, and it seems rightly so. If I sign up tomorrow I save $20. Hmmm.....

Amazon hands out one month membership extensions like candy (it’s basically their default apology for any complaint), so you’ll make that $20 back quickly. But I’m cheap, so I’d still wait until 12:01.

Or just stream it today (because someone will for the people that wont get it until December) and then pay for it tomorrow. So then you are still paying your dues but saving $20 bucks

I could do like I do for every TV show I don’t have cable for and isn’t on Netflix... or like I used to do for Top Gear before the BBC iPlayer hax....

Or, you know, use a friend’s login for tonight and buy your own tomorrow, or something.

Amazon prime is worth it even if you dont care about GT. Free 2 day shipping is a wonderful thing.

I should probably note that I do not appear to actually be paying for my prime. It isn’t being billed to my card or any of my parents cards. I would happily pay for it but I’m not going to complain that I’m not.

I don’t buy a LOT on Amazon, but if I join Prime I probably would start. I use it more often for work purchases though. Maybe I can write off the expense come tax time!

I have found that since I got prime I tend to go looking for things on Amazon before I go looking in other places. It simply shifted where I am spending my money.

I do look at car parts there more often than local or even eBay sometimes because I often can get a better deal.

Especially when it comes to little things like USB cables and knick knacks and small gifts. Oh and video games.

something similar w/ billing is happening to me as well - I got offered the $49 “student” membership even though I graduated May ‘15... so of course I signed up seconds later. Also, the first time I had it during school they let my “free trial” last an entire two years!

It’s worth it at $99, saving $20 is even better. Also, just wait or use someone else’s.

With prime you realize you can pay roughly the same as the store and not have to go to the store.

Would be even cheaper, just sayin. Though I just use an “adjusted” fire stick with kodi
