I’m going to assume the paint last more then a few years so that’s a plus. But without looking I bet this is way heavier and not as fun in the corners though

Eh, JQJ has paint problems on his Accord, and it’s fairly common. Handling wise, LSD trumps brake vectoring.

Hmm... That’s like the early to mid 2000 Toyotas. For some reason they could not get white right. Paint should be the thing that definitly gets done at least right for 5 years. My ‘98 LS400 with 302k has no paint peeling and has minor fading. It’s crazy.

I could take it or leave it personally - but the big thing Honda got right is offering a 2-door (that looks suspiciously like a 3-door but that’s a story for another time). Most of the competition is all 4/5 door now in the USA - Juke RS, FiST/FoST, Forte SX, 3s, Sentra Nismo, Elantra Sport, Veloster turbo, etc. Heck, even the GTI is 5-door only now. The closest thing I can think of is the Forte Koup SX. But I’d be shocked if the Si doesn’t murder it dynamically even if the power is about the same.

It’s build quality will be way better than the Ford.

Modern Ford’s are put together differently than almost anything I’ve worked on in autobody.

I just saw one today that had no rocker panels left at all. A 10 year old car with no rocker panels, and rotten rear quarter panels. Es no bueno

I like it on paper, and I grew up with 90's Honda awesomeness, but it looks so weird. The styling has angles going all over the place.

Honda paint is thin as hell. microfiber scatches it. my hood is covered in missing paint dots just from simple highway driving.
