I NEED A HARDTOP FOR MY NB!!! Ahh every time I see another NB with a hard top, I immediately start searching for one. Then I remember that I never drive with the top up so this would be quite the frivolous purchase. It just looks so good! But that $1k could go to student loans. Or paying rent. Or saving for a house. #PRIORITIES =(

As you were also in the shop, any idea what the Lada was there for? I would guess at a safety inspection of some kind.

I wasn’t there long enough to ask anyone, and I didn’t even notice what sort of plate it had, so yeah it was quite likely an inspection. I don’t know why else the hood would be open, it’s not like Canadian Tire would have any parts for it other than maybe tires.

My e39 is kinda sketchy too haha. There’s an e28 535i on my local craigslist for 3k but its an auto.

I’ve never driven an auto e28, but I know a guy who had an auto 535i and loved it. I’m keeping my eye out for a good 5 speed 533i or 535i though

That is definitely clean, but the auto probably would be a let down, and it looks like the tires are too small, which is weird

I might be slightly biased because of my DD, but I think the e28 is one of the best classic BMW bodies, followed by an e30 and e32
