Looking for a new set of earbuds

Long story short, my earbuds are borked after a year of use, so I’m looking for a new set. Anyone have any suggestions? Wired or wireless, don’t really care, but I do use them for running. Price isn’t too much of a concern (using the Minimum Wage Principle or Spoole’s One Dollar One Hour rule), but keep it semi-reasonable. Also, no Skullcandies please.

lmao. I was just going to say skullcandy ink’ds. cheap, each pair last me anywhere from 6-16 months, and its decent sound.

Just have bad experience with the build quality. But I’m digging these. I wouldn’t be able to use them for running, but damn, nice price.

jeez, thats a saving.

meh, I’ve always had good luck with them. I’ve never spent more then $20 on a pair, so I dont expect the greatest to begin with.

HifiMan RE-400 (they make a version with a microphone for iphone/android as well if you want). They sound great and cost $80. If you get them, get the Comply Noise Isolating Foam tips (also sold on Amazon) for $20. You won’t regret it.

With those tips, they block out sound by an incredible factor. The added bonus is that they are comfortable to the point that you forget you have them in. I’ve done 10+ hour plane rides where I put them in before getting on the plane and didn’t take them out until I got there.

I just recently made the jump from wired to bluetooth with the Jaybird X2's. They’re not bad, great sound, stick in my ear well, and are comfortable!

I don’t know if they’d be any good for running, but my Audio-Technica ATH-M50s are fantastic, and pretty much the best value ever for headphones. I haven’t had earbuds in years so I’m not much help in that regard

I’ve had a pair of Jaybird’s for a few years now, and they’re wonderful. They block a decent amount of noise out, and with the extra ear piece, they are hassle-free when I run.

Those are EXACTLY what I was about to post! I’ve had mine for almost 4 years and they still work perfectly, they’re durable, put out great sound and are less than $10! You seriously can’t go wrong.

Get Sennheisers. They’re available at any price but even the cheap ones are great, and they all come with 2 year warranties. They don’t last 2 years mind you, but when they break you can get a free pair. I’ve had 4 pairs in the last 5 years without paying a cent.
