No string cheese is ever safe in my house

My wife and I have three cats. These two were hers before we got together, and she’s always spoiled the hell out of them with people food. No matter where they are in the house, they’ll hear the string cheese opening and demand it be shared with them.

My old Dog used to be the same way except it was in reaction to opening the cheese drawer in the fridge.

Our cats have recognized our toddler as the easiest way to get string cheese since he will often give them some if they loom around him while he is eating and purr.

Sounds like our old cat Gordito. He could hear the wrapper from an american cheese slice at 1000 yards.....and appear at your feet in a nanosecond.

There is meat string out there. My cats run for the meat string.

My cat is like that with homemade chicken anything. If I prepare a dish that has chicken, my cat will soon climb on my shoulder while I’m eating. I’ll give him a small piece or two, but only if I haven’t used garlic or onion in my cooking.

Know that feeling... We have a cat and a dog. Both cheese fiends.
