I will admit it looks better than the sedan from the side, but I just can’t stand the lower part of the rear and front.

The front is only slightly less ugly than the rear. Since when does Honda think the future is black plastic everywhere and black wheels? I don’t get it. Give me their job as head of design. I’d bring this back from the dead instead of making a new civic:

I’m a big fan of those headlights that extend right to the edge of the fender, too. Always thought that was an interesting touch.

I never noticed that! And the edge flows right into the line of the wheel well which continues and becomes the belt line of the car. That’s some clever design right there.

Really it just looks like the sedan with bigger growth in the back. Not even sure why did they even bothered with the sedan.

But its Super Adaptable! Also unlike the sedan you can get turbo + 6MT. Yeah it’s a little ugly and over-styled, but it’s not as hideous as the Mazda3 hatch.

There was a new sedan in our church parking lot last Sunday, next to a previous gen Accord, and they are almost exactly the same size. Not sure the exact dimensions, but just eyeballin’ it they looked extremely close.
