The collective jimmy rustling from Gizmodo and Jezebel makes my ears ring occasionally.

Yes, they are presently having a hard time coping with reality. Then again they always seem to have that issue.

Well, you are not their demographic and without their concerns.
But, matters of empathy asides, what exactly happened to SSC North America? I recall reading that construction ground to a halt after the foundation was laid over funding issues. Are they even making anything right now? Did anyone preorder the Tuatara? If yes, are they upset over the delays?

By “hard time coping with reality,” do you mean “having justifiable concerns about the future of their rights?”

With out getting into to much of an argument,
Yes they do have serious concerns, there is a extremely high chance new policies are going to negatively affect them
But, it is my understanding that the government is not entitled to use taxpayer money to fund abortions.
You have the right to get an abortion in some places I believe. But I don’t think anyone has the right to demand that the government and taxpayers pay for it.
If we disagree, we disagree I don’t wish for this to go any farther.

Thank you for acknowledging that the “rustled jimmies” are rooted in very genuine concerns.
Abortions are not funded with federal money per the Hyde Amendment. This becomes an issue in many scenarios, though. For example, people serving in the military, Peace Corps, etc with federally funded healthcare have been denied abortion coverage even in cases of rape.
I understand that you disagree, so I’ll leave it at that. If you want to read more, here’s a good write-up: https://www.aclu.org/other/access-denied-origins-hyde-amendment-and-other-restrictions-public-funding-abortion

I voted against Trump, but I still think I’m handling everything much better than the authors at those blogs and most of the commenters. This is the name of the game. To be sure, there are plenty of people out there who think of Clinton the way that Gizmodo/Jezebel think of Trump. And they know that they’re in the right just as we do. I read an article on The Slot (I think) telling people that it’s too soon to have sex after Trump’s victory. I mean, really...
Someone said it best the other day. Everyone losing their minds, 20-30 year old Democrats, have never lost an election that they’ve voted in. If you’re 26, your first election was 2008. That, I think, gave people a false sense of security and honestly arrogance. “My way can’t lose.” It’s a real heartbreaker when the rose-colored glasses are ripped off your face.

I agree with you on what you pointed out. Not everyone can be happy, I just hope things play out well.
