The 370Z is still for sale, in case you forgot. I know I occasionally do. Wouldn’t mind owning one, though.

I don’t have any particular hate for it, it’s just one of those cars where I can’t think of any situation that would cause me to choose it over something else.

I’ve never really liked the way the modern Z drives. I think they look cool, and in theory they should be fun, but every time I’ve driven one it’s been a resounding “meh.”

Fair enough. It’s a car you wouldn’t buy with your own money, but would probably take if it was given to you.

In the time(s) that I’ve grown a little tired of my BRZ, I’ve considered them. Went so far as getting approved for a loan and then test driving one I figured I would buy. Ended up hating it. Clutch feels artificial, tough to see out of and the VQ, while making great power, just feels thrashy. I’ve given the 370Z a try twice now and it just hasn’t ever done anything for me.

Still one of the best driving experiences you can get out there. Love that NA V6 and how analog the car feels. Nissan is barely even discounting them, though, and the interior is way too dated. I can understand wanting a 370z in 2016, I can’t understand wanting a new one though.

I’m pretty sure Nissan forgot about the 370Z.

Meh, they sound ok (turbo pony cars sound better) and have gotten left behind like the Genesis Coupe. You used to buy these because they were on par with the pony cars power/speed wise and had better handling. The Camaro (although heavier) has long since surpassed it and Mustang has just gotten around to improving its handling. Challenger power #s alone out class the Z. I mean consider the mid range of these the Camaro V6 and Mustang ecoboost, they are cheaper, similar performance numbers, arguably better handling, and has 4 seats. Plus I think both look better than the Z. Nissan have just left these sit like Mits did with the Evo with little to no improvements. And unfortunately just like the Evo, i doubt there will be another one.

They started making them in 09 right? At least they got of the cat fish front in the early models had.

I’d get one of these if I didn’t have friends.
I do however have friends; those who never want to drive. Some of them I would honestly rather not drive.

I’ve only driven the Nismo 370 above and had a hell of a time. Even the auto blip downshifts were fun once I got used to them. Eager to take it out again after the clutch is a little more broken in.

I think SM70 said it best. Both the 350Z and 370Z sound like cars I would like on paper, but in reality I don’t think I’d ever consider one, even though I don’t hate it. It just kinda... is.

The biggest issue with it is how cheap you can get V8 power these days.
