First DIY video for my channel. Let me know what you guys think! I can make it longer/shorter for the next DIY I do or adjust as needed!
Not too much content out there but this just goes to show you its just another car and can still be worked on in your own garage at home!
This video is a step by step on how to replace radiator hoses on A Dodge Viper ACR.

Yes.
Check your crank pulley bolt to make sure it’s tight and if you haven’t already, replace your plastic power steering pulley and pot metal power sterring bracket with quality components such as those offered by ipsco.

I sold my Elise SC for a Viper. Coming from the Lotus community where the amount of DIY guides and build threads is insane, I was left baffled at how little help there was on the Viper. $7 dollars on eBay for all the factory books and I was able to do most of my own maintenance, but there really isn’t a lot of good DIY information out there.
Trying to hunt down a smoke trail.

I completely agree and found the same experience coming from a very helpful and positive S2000 community.
Most of the Viper forums have little information and a very polar opposite community to say the least!

Glad to see another Viper owner!
Checking the crank pulley and p/s pulley is next on my list! I also made a quick fix for the power steering fluid cap using a 180* hose and a clamp instead of the roe unit. I actually found my power steering cap dancing around loose when I first got the car!
I kind of enjoy the fact that the car is unmolested and I get to do all these upgrades myself!

I loved the S forums as well. My first car and the car I owned the longest. an ‘05 Suzuka S with the blue interior.

There’s a couple of us here. The p/s cap is pretty common, I just bought a prefabbed tube from Roe.
My crank pulley boy was not even finger tight, and my car only had 12000 miles on it at the time! Why they didn’t key the crank is beyond me...

Ah glad to see others follow the same path! So you know first hand the difference in the community then!
