So just right now I looked it up on craigslist.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Probably has the same mounting points since Hondas are always interchangeable.
It may be a stupid idea to put a new engine in my DD, but...
It’s a stupid idea.

I wouldnt be so sure about the mounting points. If the engine is already available for your car, then sure. But often, you’d need swap mounts (like when swapping a K-series in a Civic/Integra etc).

My reasoning was also because both are J-series engines. You’re probably right though.

honestly the wiring and electronics would probably be the biggest ball-ache. the mechanical parts would probably be easy; if you had a same-year donor car you could likely just take the whole engine/trans/cradle/crossmember and swap it over.
JRapp: now as good as new again

If you’re looking at the J-series, why not go with the 3.7L? Surely bigger is better?

Loved, loved, loved that engine in my Accord Coupe. Had it along with the 6-speed manual and it was an absolutely joy to use every day.
