just to demonstrate how utterly stupid Daimler’s product planning was for Chrysler, this thing actually had three possible roof materials. Canvas, vinyl, and hardtop. and they all used the same goddamned expensive mechanism.

I’m just shocked that this is obviously not in the US. I can see any other reason to buy on e of these other than patriotism and not wanting to buy foreign. But that “logic” doesn’t apply outside of the Us.

An absolutely bare bones version was *the* cheapest convertible you could buy in the US at the time, I believe. That was the main selling point.

not hard , we very rarely have snow , so little chance of rusting away like some pictures i’ve seen.
