So... if one lived a little close to the city limits, do they say, “Oh we live in South North Vancouver?”

Hey, this is useful information: the printer will feed bent corners, double thickness of paper, and so on without jamming. Just think of all the origamiesque things you can make it print on. You can even do multiple passes with overlays folded/unfolded.

I actually had a printer in my classroom for a while that would give that exact error message.
It just meant that it was out of paper.

It just meant that it was out of paper. But I always had to resist the urge to shout that, whenever it happened.

I once got a piece of mail from the California Department of Labor that had an info booklet in it. It was 3 sheets of paper stapled together. All three sheets were just barely different sizes. Two of them had non 90 degree corners. I think they were reusing scrap, and recutting it or something. It was very bizarre.

PAPER CARTRIDGE - LOAD LETTER
For those of us who dealt with old HP LaserJets, this made sense, as the paper was contained in a removable cartridge.

That would be pretty great, but people here almost exclusively refer to places by neighbourhood

It was an online order, the mechanic probably used that to look up what pads he needed, that’s usually where the year/make/model does
