Good thing you married her, then. Your wife, that is. Not the car.

I drove an X5 M-sport last summer. Really made me rethink SUVs and what they can do.
And that steering wheel... My god.

I mean its one way to get a Countryman without dumb circles all over the interior.

I had the same reaction to the X5 M-Sport steering wheel. I posted a quick review here last month... I think I called it God’s own steering wheel.

It’s a nice car. But FWD BMW? At least buy an x3 or something.
Then again I’ve never driven a BMW newer than 1996 let alone a brand new one.
*Edit I drove a M4 convertible around a parking lot rather quickly once

See, this is where I wonder if I’m not really a true car guy. If I were to start a sentence with “I love my wife’s....” it would not end with “car”. I can think of a lot of things I’d put in that sentence....but I’d have to get pretty far down the list to get to car. Admittedly, the Sienna isn’t helping much (although I like to rearrange a little and refer to it as an iSenna), but I think she could drive a hypercar and I’d still have several things in front of it.

The M steering wheels are a gift from God.

Did you just mental gynastic what I said into “my favorite thing about my wife is her car”? If so, what kind of issues do you have that you’re trying to prove you don’t?

I could tell you how well it drives, but you’ll think I’m bias. So I’ll tell you that C&D said the car is neutral and balanced up until 8/10s on the standard 18s, and that threshold rises even higher with the optional 19s.
If I was gonna get something bigger, it would be an X4.
