I was making a joke about the bed but that would be an excellent place to learn all of those things. Simple, functional and effective. I’ve learned all my auto maintenance skills on an E36 BMW, Alfa Romeo 164 and 1991 Toyota 4Runner. 4 cylinder BMWs are truly a joy to work on, just compare these engine bays:

4Runner(hell and busted knuckles):

Alfa Romeo(drop-dead beautiful hell and busted knuckles):

BMW(SO MUCH ROOM! :)):

(Alfa engine bay is a photo of (what was)my actual car, 4Runner and BMW are off Google but the BMW damn well could be mine down to the color and the Dinan intake and the specific aftermarket radiator. Actually I’m legit internet stalking where this picture came from because it’s old enough that it’s before my ownership and that damn well could be my car.)
