The trail said 4wd only. I kept on driving, I was crossing 1.5ft deep ditches, pounding mud holes, and other fun stuff. My snow tires are great off road. I had had to back up 1km since I almost drove into a 3ft deep mud hole. Now it has natures 2 tone paint job. No photos since I have no phone right now. The off roading was very light, most jeep guys would call this trail a paved road.

3ft hole, sounds a lot like the paved roads around me... Going to start a hashtag with pictures of these holes.

Well that is more off-roading than 90%of jeeps actually see.

With reasonable tires and a little ground clearance, most cars are surprisingly capable offroad, especially with FWD. Add 4x4 (or even just AWD) and you pretty well need to sink into a hole of soft stuff or get high-centred (pretty well the same thing) to encounter a problem. Just be smart and work with your approach, departure, and breakover angles (and don’t do stupid things) and you’ll be fine.
