depends ohn how bad the rust is.

Depends on how rusty. Also will probably need a complete overhaul of the brakes, so figure another $1000 just for making it moving and stopping.

Well let me tell you, as someone who has dabbled with old Mercs and has settled on a W123.... restoring is expensive on cars of that age. If you can find parts ok, but classic center age range is mucho dinero. It would be cool to keep like that, maybe an interior refresh. I like it. I love w111s, my mechanic has a black over red one.
