The Jeep is getting a radiator, so my dad was kind enough to loan me his car.
I love this car way more than I thought I would.
Ask me anything.

Can I borrow it and compare it to my third gen for an OPPO review?

How sexy does the V8 sound 1-10?
Them fuckers sound amazing.

Aren’t you somewhere out west? I’m about 4 miles from the Atlantic Ocean.

I’d give it a solid 7.
It’s very subdued most of the time.

I love these things, and I hope this doesn’t sound mean, but aren’t 4Runners, especially of this gen, usually driven by moms instead of dads? Just a weird observation I’ve noticed over the years.

Maybe? Idk I think the were just the de facto middle class mom SUV before the recession.
My moms had two 4Runners over the years. A first gen and a second gen.

Ah. Well it’s not mine to loan out, at any rate.

UIf you had the opportunity to drive the AGL-4 instead of the Toyota, would you?
Same question, but the Big Oly Bronco.

Is the seat as uncomfortable for you as it is for me?
God, I hate the seats in my 4Runner. After an hour of driving I can’t handle it, and the only time I take my truck out is to spend the whole day on the trails...

My mom has one, a 2003 with the V8 and all the options. Mine is a 2005 with the V8 and literally none of the options. I like mine better.
This doesn’t answer your question about it being a mom-car, or not, I just wanted to share.

Too boring in stock form. I need to get a performance exhaust, headers and all, but I’m not made of money and my stock exhaust is practically new.

That’s sad. The seats in my second gen are amazing.

I actually kind of like them. They’re not the best, but supportive enough. This has the cloth seats. Not sure what you have?

What kind of gas mileage are you getting. I rarely get over 14 mpg around town in mine.

I have a long back, so maybe my shape just doesn’t match the seats.

Cloth seats as well. I guess it’s just my shape.

Perhaps. I’m a short guy so I can be comfortable almost anywhere. I got in it this morning and noticed how firm, almost bolstered the seat felt. My Jeep seems like a Cadillac in comparison with its soft cushy unbolstered seats.
