It was actually 1055. That’s all the LCI sedans (09-11) with a 6MT, in the US. Actually only sold a total of 4318 E90s with a 6MT world wide during the entire production run.

Question, if the 09-11 cars are LCI What are the 11-13 cars? Does LCI only refer to the sedans?

LCI stands for life cycle improvement, when they update the model half way through its life. They made several changes between the 2008 and the 2009 3 series such as idrive and led tail lights. I sepecifically looked for an LCI model when I got because of these changes. They stopped making the e90 M3 in late 2011, so 2011 is the last year of e90 M3.
