My brother had a ‘98 Avalon with 383k miles. I drove it a few times, I couldn’t believe how well it was cared for by the previous owner — and then he rear ended someone with it.

not high for a 3rd gen Camry, the best car ever made :)

I do hate transverse V6 engines, though, and the 1MZ is hard to work on. Good luck with the valve cover gaskets. If you ever have to replace them, install iridium spark plugs while you’re there!

Interesting how some of them have a hand brake and some of them have a foot-operated parking brake. (all the ES300's of the time have the hand brake, though)

This stuff is worse though became it just gets placed onto the existing trim. The first I saw it was in a Prius and I LOST it! It was the funniest thing I’d ever seen.
