That must be absolutely terrifying at top speed.

Reminds me that I saw a panel van this morning that either had some engine work done or had a severely rusted exhaust. It was so strange to hear roaring V8 noises coming from a truck that was lumbering up to 60 MPH.

I was once passed by an all-black and chrome, custom Mountain Aire
Like the one pictured above, but all black, and with three chrome exhaust pipes I could have stuck my head into out the back...
It passed me going uphill.
I was going 80.
It did a hammer-drop pass, this was NOT a rolling pass.
It went by *FAST*.
I have no idea how much power that thing was making, but the turbo-noises as it went by were EPIC. When you have (what I assume to be) a huge I6 Cummins (or maybe it was a Volvo) in the back and the only noise you can hear is the furious shrieking and induction suck of what may have been three turbos you know you’re running a lot of boost.
