I’m assuming he means the Civic SiR and SiR II also listed on the site.

But thing I’ve seen in their inventory was a baby blue GTS-t sedan, with blue seats and a manual trans; plus some aftermarket basket weaves and a lip kit. It was hot. Especially since almost every skyline is either black or silver.

Should’ve clarified. I just couldn’t imagine dropping over $10k on a civic

Kinja'd!!!

... when both of these are cheaper.

That is quite a tempting price point..

That’s fair. The biggest problem with that Civic is for that price(or a lot less) you could pic up a clean K20/24, or B18 swapped car which would be faster and and LHD.

The SIR II came with the 170HP engine the US didn’t get. That plus the rediculously light curbweight (~2300 lbs or so) would put this car in the same league as the new edge mustang in terms of performance. That’s not bad at all.

There are definitely better options here in the states for $10k. But if you have a thing for Hondas, You’re definitely not going to find one as clean as that here in the states ; all have a billion miles on them, half have been beaten to hell, the other half have been fast ‘n furious’d to death and it looks like street racing has claimed a lot of them, leaving only 14 survivors for sale nationwide. If you need a clean unmodded one that’s still a little quick, I can see the appeal, given the circumstances.

Ooof yea those looked rough. But I just don’t see the allure ... yet. A clean 240 for $8k? Yea, sure. A Honda Beat? Fuck yea. For a Civic? Maybe in another 10 years.

Well that’s easy, you act like you’ll race them, but then don’t and watch their douchery. A coworker of mine go to drive a friend’s new gen Viper GTS. He was cruising 65 mph on the freeway and every douche canoe in a pile of meh raced up to take pictures and rev and try to race. Its like even if he was looking to race, why bother with easy shit?

It’s a good car but a SR20DET Silvia is better. Source: I own a GTS-T.

If you are serious I can give you the down low on the GTS-T and why I think the Silvia is a better car.
