50% on Copy Paste. So close..
But this is not a $1500 machine. Unless you’re a Kawi fanatic and don’t plan on ever selling it off.
What a Tecate 3 should look like.
There were red Kawasaki Tecates oddly. One year only. It was meant as a distraction at the races. Now, that first one is a $700 machine at best.He won’t bite on that though.
I need to ban myself from Craigslist..

That sure looks like a two smoke pipe. These particularly hard to find?

Kawis and Yamahas are a bear to find. And as rare as they may be? They typically don’t get Honda money.

That reminds me of a Ducati model that was available in red and black. The overwhelming majority were red, and a lot of the black ones were converted by red because they didn’t sell in black. Even as a used bike, the red ones were worth more, even though they probably outnumbered the black ones 10-1.
Basically, if I buy a Kawasaki, it needs to be green.

That exhaust looks like it got stung by a bee. I wonder what kind of effect that’s supposed to have?

First or second pic? 2 strokes are funny. Changing the shape of the expansion chamber changes the “powerband” in weird ways.

Kawis are Green. Yamahogs are Yellow. Hondas are Red. It’s the natural order!

Both pics; the one with the heat shield, and the one without. I don’t think I’ve seen an exhaust shaped like that before.
I know next-to-nothing about backpressures and resonance on normal cars, so this odd shape kinda blows my mind.

The swollen part actually helps act as a. Well jeze. I don’t want to call it a supercharger. There’s a good tutorial on Curbside Classics I’ll have to find now.

Not in the 80s. (On Dirt)
I’ll give on Suzuki. They did do yellow too.

$400 Tops. It’s a hardtail, $600 would be top dollar on one with good plastics.

Haha, yup! I was just using that to point out how little I know about the technical stuff of exhaust systems in general lol.

The effect of burning a small child’s leg if they got off on the wrong side. Not that I would know or anything...

That’s probably because everyone is like me. They recall having a Big Red(not the bastardized new thing) when they were little and want something with the Honda logo again.

This post made me search my local Craigslist and state laws. I’m fuzzy with legality of registering them however I have found some gems locally.

This is less than an hour away. No way I would buy it but look at that thing.
