It’s owned by an older family member who thinks it’s on its last legs, I think it’s got more to give. They want to sell it and buy a newer Ram or F-150 or something. I think they should keep it. Or give it to me. It’s got about 90K miles, not sure about the year. This is what happens when you put your cars outside without protection.

It needs a breathed on 360, some new suspension/brakes, and to be daily’d.
Or DAJIRAM

Looks like an LA to me.

I’d give it a comet/sos pad scrub, lower it, throw on some good looking wheels and drive it!

yeah, looking at other photos I think you’re right. the air cleaner would be further offset if it was a six.

I’d pass on it. Rust is an infrequent foe for me, but when I’ve encountered it, it ruins everything a least a little bit. Like a very windy day, strong winds are the worst wheather, just shits on eveything.

Looks pretty clean underneath that body. And at only 90k it shouldn’t have too many issues, I would suspect you’d have more issues related to age than anything else. I’d go for it, especially if you get a good deal on it

It’s great, I have a buddy who has a 1981 Ram with a 318 and he loves it.

Wow, I had almost the exact same thing happen to me a couple of years ago. A family member gave me an ‘87 W100. Extreme base model: slant-6, 4-speed manual, 4x4, short bed, no a/c. But really, it was the perfect combination. However, I didn’t really have anywhere to put it. Then, after spending a little bit of money and a big bit of time chasing issues with the clutch, I said screw it and sold it to a flipper for $1000.
I often wish I still had it.
EDIT: Found the pics.

It is amazing to me that a truck that rusty on top can be so not rusty on bottom.

While it looks shitty on the outside underneath and engine bay it looks really good. I would throw out a give it to me offer.

That Orange truck is CP territory. I’d say your example is in the $1000-$1500 range.

That’s more than I thought it would be worth
