It’s 1967 1969 and you have three badass muscle cars to choose from.
1969 Camaro Z/28, 302 cubic inch V8 290hp
1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302, V8 302 cubic inches 290hp
1969 Plymouth Road Runner, V8 383 cubic inches 375hp

If it’s 1967 how can you have cars from 1969? The correct answer, though, is Boss 302. If the Road Runner was a 440 or Hemi then it would win but the ‘69 Mustang is best Mustang.

None of them

Daily the Z, track the Boss and burn the bird.
The Roadrunner would be the most practical DD, but IIRC, both of the 302s just needed to breathe better to make a lot more power than stock. And I’ve always hated the interior of the RR.

If it’s 1967, how do I get to pick from 3 cars from 1969?
![]() 10/05/2016 at 18:37 |

First off these are all Pony Cars.
Secondly:
DD: 1967 Pontiac Firebird 400
Track: 1964 Pontiac GTO racecar
Burn: Mustang

Actually the Roadrunner isn’t a pony car. Maybe a ’69 Barracuda with a 340 belongs, or a Trans Am?

I thought I changed the title, It should be fixed now

Ok

I agree, the Barracuda isn’t a Pony car, but 2/3...
‘69 wouldn’t work within the year range, but yes something smaller or change to a GTO, Charger, and Road Runner.

DD the Z
Track the Boss
Burn the Mopar

Ouch

Ok but then personally I’d be tracking and DDing the GTO and burning the other two. They’re cool cars but the interiors are too chintzy and the handling too piggy to daily or track...

The 383 is the least desirable Mopar motor IMO, plus the other two are lookers. The RR... not so much.

I have a thing for ‘67 Firebird 400s. So no can do on that one.

Just to clarify — it was the Charger and RR in your 2nd reply that I was burning, not the Firebird and Mustang. My thing is for ‘65 GTOs- my favorite muscle car.

oh lol yeah, I agree. I meant to fix the OP. +
My boss drag races a ‘65 GTO. He has broken into the high 9s, but consistent low 10 second car. Pontiac motor, 500 ci, na

Daily ‘Stang, track Z and burn the Mopar.
It’s a cliché choice, but for a reason.
The first two cars look better imo.
