They are A-Traktors from Sweden. You can’t legally drive a car until 18 there, but you can drive an a-traktor at 16, so they exist to exploit that loophole. The law says they can’t go over 18mph, need to have a bed that hold 1.25 sq meters of cargo(and no more) and have trailer hitch.

The tails on a ‘50 Ford look better, IMO.

...though the chrome strip really adds something on the Volvo. Both, I would say, call out for the making of mini-pickups. However, the Aussie ute version of the shoebox Ford that was actually produced uses different lights and tail. Disappointing.
