Pretend you’ve been given $300,000 and you’ve got to buy 6 cars. No more, no less. New or used. What do you get?
I’d go for:
Mercedes GL350 ~$80k
Mini Cooper S ~$30k
Ford F-150 ~$60k
Jeep Wrangler ~$35k
Audi S5 ~$60k
im not sure what to do for the last one so I’ll put this in as a DD/wild card:
Subaru Forester XT ~$30k
I generally like new cars (because only owner and warranty), but feel free to pick used ones.

If I had another $100K and 2 more cars, ND Miata ($35k), and a Ford Transit 350 XLT with all the fixin’s ($55k). Another additional $100k and another 2 more cars, a 2017 F-350 Super Duty Lariat FX4 ($70k-ish) and a Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD ($35k). The extra $5k leftover would go into getting a newer, nicer Raptor.

Lmao! I ask this exact question every time someone does an AMA, because I have a 6-car fleet worth roughly 300 grand, and I like to see how peoples’ answers stack up to my real life choices. So here’s how I put my money where my mouth is with regards to your question:

2014 - McLaren MP4-12c Spider = $209,989.00
2016 Ford Focus RS = $35700
2016 Volvo XC90 T6 R-Design (for the wife) = $54281
I’m cheating because I am counting my FoST, Land Rover Discovery, and bicycle as the rest of my garage count.
