I was hoping my friend Joel Goodson would bring his dad’s 928, but he was busy enterprising. I wonder if the 550 is the real deal but here its possible. Followed a slant nose turbo down Green Bay rd. when we left.

Very nice show held the last Sunday of the month. Chill group of owners and lots of great cars, not all “supercars”. There’s more down to earth stuff like Saab Sonnets. I’ll get more of those next time. Some are showcar level. Some are, let’s call them driver’s cars, like that Miura.

Edit: I should have credited the organization that puts on the event. Its called Fuelfed. Here’s the calendar. Looks like just one more open public event this calendar year. By the way this is not an exceptional showing for this group. I’ve been to a few this year and I’ve seen a Dino, 959, Lancia Stratos, M1. And then there are cool BWM 2002s and just lots of neat stuff. I need to get a Fiat X1/9, joine and rub shoulders. Hey, that’s a Marcello Gandini design too!

It made me wonder if it’s a replica. It wasn’t in a prominent spot like the F40 & F50, Miura or the Gullwing.

My initial thought is replica so that would make sense. I’d still love to see it up close though.
