Internet photos to make up for lack of SR20. This weekend the Finns took a long weekend to visit parents and drove 1,200 miles. During that time some interesting things were seen. The coolest was a Jeep FC with track conversion. The FC in question had some patina to it but looked to be pretty solid. The track conversion looked to be similar to this one from !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

We also saw a Tesla. This is notable because it was in the middle of nowhere and at least a couple hundred miles from the nearest supercharger.

A couple of Polaris Slingshots were seen. One of them on the highway, another in the parking lot of a Walgreens. Mrs. Finn and the Finnlet were waiting in the car while I ran in to Walgreens. I happened to be looking out the door and saw the Slingshot go by. When I got back in the truck I was asked if I saw “the Batmobile tricycle go by”. That was a pretty apt description for a grey/black Slingshot.

While at the Walgreens we happened to be parked next to a Maserati Quattroporte.

We also saw a black Mercedes SLS. That is the first SLS I’ve seen IRL, and they do have serious road presence.

It was a good weekend for car spotting, but that will happen when you visit one of the wealthiest counties in the state.

I’m with you. It was absolutely the coolest thing I’ve seen this year.
