Did you know that a 40 oz of Mickeys comes in a plastic bottle now?

This type has a big bite to it but a lot of flavor. Their other stuff is smoother.

I made a promise to my family and Ex to never touch the luscious Brown Devil ever again.

I’ll take your word though.

Ah. I know how that goes. My mom stopped drinking tequila because she'd get mean on it.

Sipped on 2.5 glasses of this. Not bad, I’m definitely more of a red wine person. Favorite this far is 19 Crimes red blend, extremely tasty.

What’s a good bourbon or whiskey to start with? I’m trying to educate myself with the finer things.

Honestly, I’m not well versed in brown liquors. Most of the stuff I’ve had is on the expensive side. Montegoman posts stuff under “the cask”. That would be a good starting point.

General rule of thumb is if it comes in a plastic bottle it won’t be that great.

I would start with something smooth and light and ease into the more flavorful types to develop your pallet.
