I’m 99.9% sure that I do. Whenever I’m driving an automatic car, I kinda constantly floor it.
In my experience with the Cadillac SRX, I discovered that my lead foot only made the engine louder because of how fucking slow the car was. Oh well, at least I looked stylish and shit.

I floor it more often than I need to, but not all the time.

In my A6, I floor it from time to time. Not that often.
But with automatic cars, I just like to floor it for no good reason sometimes. Usually from red lights and stop signs to the speed limit. I enjoy engine sounds.

On normal roads I drive pretty reasonably, but on highways I’ll usually go 80-100 if it’s light out.

I wish I could do that.
DC Area means that there’s cops literally everywhere. Like, I mean everywhere. I rarely go on 95 for more than a minute without seeing at least two, either that have stopped somebody or that are hiding somewhere waiting to nab somebody.

I use my accelerator liberally in all gears and all occasions :)

I floor it all the time in the 4Runner because I have to, then I use that same technique in my Mom’s Vibe and I am just fighting TC. Though I’m pretty light in my Dad’s Ram, but that’s just because it’s awful to drive and scares the shit out of me.

I’m reasonable when I’m alone or with people I know don’t want me to pretend I’m playing NFS.

Some highways around Cleveland are like that, but there’s only like two spots that police hide out at on the entirety of I-480

Yes. It's way too fun to do little pulls here and there. Turn a corner on to an on ramp to 80 or so then foot off the pedal to get back to 70ish before merging. Can't just pass that up. Not to mention, boost lives in those higher revs. Boost is good

I floored the Safari all the time because I had to to get it to move. I floor the M3 sometimes but not as much. Still too often probably but oh well, straight 6 noise is best noise.

Not any more. I used to hoon around way to much, but I just cruise now. I’ll go extralegal on long trips, but day to day I drive like a grandpa.

Cleared out roads after sitting in P1 at a red light are the best, kinda like when I left work today.
Also, rental cars or any car not mine in an automatic format will get floored liberally. Getting that double kickdown is kinda fun in a weird way.

Yeah.... I got my mom’s Hyundai Santa Fe up to 6 grand on an on-ramp.

Depends a lot on the car. I mean, you wouldn’t exactly be flooring a Hellcat everywhere, but a Miata you can get away with.

The best road to floor it in our area is 50 towards Annapolis. I’ve done ludicrous speeds there on a few occasions. I’ve since slowed down but I have gone nearly twice the limit once and only once. Cops are hardly ever on that road.

That sweet sweet induction noise is intoxicating. You can feel and hear the revs climb

I was at a PDX Track day a couple months ago and after my second session I was getting used to the track and hammering my V. A couple friends walk up and call me out for an intervention. Their complaint:”The gas pedal is not an on/off switch (my car is very loud at full boost WOT), ther is such a thing as modulating the accelerator pedal and still be fast.” My response, “Acellerating or braking, I don’t do coasting!”
