Careful you’ve got some Anerican innovation haters here who pray for Tesla’s downfall daily.

“Innovation Haters.” This is true. I don’t get the whole “Tesla is going to fail! They’re just expensive toys for yuppies! They only go 300 miles!” bullshit. Then again, there were folks that rode horses that talked about how bad bicycles were when they first came out. Then when automobiles came about, the same folks bitched about those (loud, smokey, etc...). What everyone fails to do is see this as a step in automotive evolution; it’s not the final rendition. Cars were slow and had short range in the early 1900’s; now your most basic car can outstrip those on all levels (hell, even a Yugo, if you can keep it running long enough). I can’t imagine what Teslas will be like in 10 years, let alone 20.

This is my sentiment exactly. Every person saying that they hope Tesla fails is a vote against Capitalism to me. America who hasn't been number 1 in shit in a really long time has a company that is trying to succeed at not only selling cars but selling an idea of not being dependent on foreign fuel.
