And Star Blazers. I’ve got a DVD of Star Blazers in my cabinet. It started a whole project of drawing space ships when I was a kid. And I still have those 35-year-old drawings somewhere.

My friend had a book of warships throughout history, and they included side-view line drawings of all sorts of ships. We traced them and added engines and wings and wave motion guns and all sorts of things. Good times.

Yeah... pretty much any ship drawn back in the day, got the obligitory wings, jets and motion wave gun on the bow.....
