I was told by the idiot who did it (read: a family member) that in some version of Excel selecting a whole row by clicking the row button and then hitting merge and center makes it completely lose its shit. Because merging infinite cells, or something. You would think MS would have seen that one coming.

Well a pedant could explain that with power/torque not being the limiting factors and a fixed final gear ratio and a limited rpm, he could be correct. I will not be that pedant.
