1. I’m absolutely loving every second of it. The 2.7t is very lively and direct.
2. You get torque at 40 mph in 6th gear. Something that I’ve simply never been able to do in 5th in any of my other cars.
3. The Bose sound system is very nice. There is also a massive woofer in the trunk, built into the side. Such German.
4. The turbo whistle is amazing.
5. The backseat is rather massive.

Depends on driving style and the amount of modifications done to the engine.

I don’t drive like a dumbass and neither did the previous owner.
I’m keeping the engine stock.

Carrying 6th around town was one of my favorite things about the allroad. Of course it also meant I was at like 3200rpm on the highway, but whatever. Worth it.

Nice, haha.
Another funny thing is that with every single car I've owned, no matter how long or short I owned it is always want something new. But I'm just not feeling that with the A6.

I believe that. When I bought my allroad I was 25, and had owned about 35 cars by that point. I averaged like 6 months of ownership. Then the Audi shows up and I had it for four years, tripling my previous longest (88 Camaro IROC). In the two years since the Audi went away, I've had three dailys. So there you go.

That’s precisely how I feel about my X5. Currently getting everything in tip top shape for my own piece of mind. This car fits me perfectly. The load height is great and somehow is easy to load in and out of even tho I’m a tad over 5’5”. Never thought I’d fall in love with an SUV but I have. This also give me a reason to purchase a fun car next year....The new thing in town is to get a Miata and do a Honda J32 swap. Currently I average a new car per year.

Haha, my exact reaction when I saw the car for sale. Along with the fact that the car was racing green pearl, rather than silver.

also, despite your reluctance, you should totally tune it. My 2.7 made it +100k tuned to 18psi, and it was awesome! :P

I just don’t want to blow up the turbos. An AWE Stage 1 sounds good, but I’ve heard horror stories of the turbos blowing afterwards.

Cause those are kids who abuse their cars tho. You’ll know by your driving style whether you are abusive or not. Plus even after its tuned, it’ll only give you as much boost as you ask for.
My C4 peaks at 25psi, but I really ever milk it that hard, but every once in a while I make the climb, and than its all worth it lol. This is the beauty of boost, its variability.

Also, do you know anything about abs module failure? I pulled a code and have a solid abs light and flashing brake light.

No, sorry, I havent had any ABS issues. But its probably a fuse, or a relay, or the madule. Thats my arm chair guess at least.
