Old ads were just cooler.

Chrysler has ice cream. Apparently.
Also, pampering.
We’ve all heard jokes about dresses made out of curtains, but seriously?
For some reason, the Imperial ads for ‘66 don’t appear to have been included in the ridiculous fancy-ness ad campaign most of the rest of these are in.

Love most vintage ads. the 69 Camaro had quite a few good ones.

Could I interest you in a far more fuselage-y 1969 Chrysler? Because mine’s for sale. I mean how can you say no to 50 lbs of sound deadening?

The ads were definitely better, but wow-ee did those old boats ever suck to drive.

That 1966 Imperial Crown Convertible ad makes me want an Imperial so bad. “More Standard Features than a Rolls Royce.” Awesome

The final two ads are my favorite. Harkening back to the Packard ads is really cool.

It is for sale? What a shame! That is such a cool car.

“Suck to drive around corners.” There fixed it for you. For cruising there is nothing better.

It sure is. It’s been fun but I’ve had it for a year and I’m looking for a 60’s sports car to take its place.

Get a Porsche 912!

Well, I’ll buy that, as long as you can be sure that at no point in the cruise will you ever have to brake or swerve so abruptly that it might spill a cup of tea resting on the dashboard. And for the passengers, comfort-wise those cars were unbeatable! And if you were a teenager on a date to the drive-in movies...

I’d totallyconsider it. But how much do they sell for these days? I know they’re very disparate cars but my current front runners are an early AS Fiat 124 Spider and a 1969 Corvette.

Stick the 912. A 69 Corvette is one of the greatest designs of all. Buy it!

I love that site. There’s also a site for movies/TV: http://www.imcdb.org/ - did not know this was a thing until a couple weeks ago.
