While at Wendy’s my wheel cylinder let go. I then coasted it back to my Dad’s place of work(I was buying him lunch) down the street. My Monday was fun, how about yours?

Came back from a 10 day holiday to find both rear tyres flat on the Defender, 3 slow punctures. Filled ‘em up and took it to local shop and had them repaired for £15. Bought a set of wheels (that don’t fit) and tyres (that will fit) for £20 this afternoon to add to my rubber and steel collection, all of which will not directly attach to either Land Rover without swapping a lot of good tyres on crappy rims onto the good rims with crappy tyres, and afterwards being left with what can only be described as a pile of shite with 13 good wheels and tyres sitting to the side of it.

Woke up to a freshly replaced caliper, smooth braking and...... a judder when letting out the clutch. Complete with abnormal noises. The judder turned into a shudder, the noise into a screech, and a clutch pedal that sunk to the floor and engaged in the first inch or two off said floor. Limped it to work, parked it, started looking at our used lot for a replacement. Taking one example home tonight.

Hopped in the SL, enjoyed not watching the ADS light come on. Watched a prick in none other than a BMW turn his hazards on to drive down the opposing lane of traffic just to move up 10 cars, did the easiest service call with a co-worker my company has ever had (problem solved in less than 5 minutes of walking into the residence), picked up lunch, went back to the office, spent way too long wrestling with a DVR to pull footage of a client having two cars stolen, and then drove home, dropped the key to the HEMIWagon at my friend’s shop where I have it parked so a body shop can pick it up and shave the badge location off of the bumper, and then I got home, filled out my new health insurance forms (at least I have benefits, however iffy, right?), now I’m backing up 45gb of photos, I’ll see if I can get the DVR footage to convert, and then I’m going to continue my endeavor in Gran Tourismo 6 to have a stupid fast Honda Fit so I can progress to the bigger stages and then finally purchase the car of my dreams in game. A 98 SL600. Too bad there’s no Magnum, I could almost make my real garage in game. That would just be too cool.

Been a long day, lots going on. Need to get to bed a little earlier though, I work right outside NYC, and starting Wednesday they’re going to really tighten up security. The Pope is coming! The Pope is coming!
