Hands down the most expensive wheeled thing I’ve ever touched. Here in the land of Tim Hortons, the MSRP is around $2.2 million. What can I tell you? I can tell you it sounds even better inside than it does outside. it has leather floor mats and a carbon fiber ash tray! I know it costs as much as a small country but man is it ever worth it. What a car!! What do you guys want to know about what it’s like to ride in a Huayra?

Was it driven in anger? how does the active aero feel?

Can you see the flaps move from inside?

You have to stand up in your seat a little bit but yeah, you can see them move around. A very cool effect!

Sadly no :( limited to a small road and didn’t go much over 100 km/h.

I’m jealous! Only one I’ve seen is PFAFF’s naked carbon Huayra, and you could spend hours taking in the way the carbon weaves on the various panels. I’ve only heard it in game and a few YT videos, but I imagine the blow-off valves are pretty noticeable?

They for sure look fun. And how much can you see out of the mirrors because they look crazy.

The turbo noises are EXTREMELY noticeable. They dominate the sound experience. Even at low speeds, they hiss and pop right behind your head. It really is an amazing experience.

Now this will sound dumb but we had the whole road reserved for us so I didn’t even use them. I had my mind on the big V12 behind me, mostly!

I don’t blame you. That v12 looks and sounds incredible.

I don’t believe you. There’s too much damn turbo noise for it to actually sound “better” inside or out.

That must be why the F40 sounds so bland and unexciting.

Now that’s different. The F40 actually sounds damn good.
Compared to this...
Nothing very inspiring or exciting about that sound to me. I don’t think it’d sound any better in person.

Like I said up top, it sounds miles and miles better inside than outside. inside, you get all kinds of turbo hiss and blow-off action. I’ve been in all kinds of cars, turno/na and new/old. This was one of my all-time great noises. And that’s coming from a lunkhead who drives a 1969 Chrysler out of stubborness to modern cars.
Unlike most modern cars, the Huayra is
proud
of its turbos, not ashamed of them like modern Ferraris and Porsches. They add to the experience and make it more exciting. But in the end, sound is a personal preference and I wont try to convince you that you don’t like what you like.

The Huayra sounds loads better than the F40 in those vids.

So very, very jealous of you. I love that car, if only I was stupid rich.

I want to know how it rides compared to a Zonda...

Me too but I have zero Zonda experience, sadly
