idk, so many of them are in such bad shape these days it’s hard to find one that’s any good at all. They share a bit of stuff with the 308 which is an upside but they’re still kind of the red-headed (no pun intended) stepchild.

I kind of like it too. Certainly it’s not the ugliest Ferrari I’ve ever laid eyes on, it's actually got some charm in its design. Anyone who says that this is "The ugliest Ferrari". forgets that there are offenders that are much.

What the fuck did you say about the F50? I like it more than I should. To me, it always captured that race car for the street theme the best. The Enzo is much, much, fuglier, being a lame-ass hot wheels toy Saab Sonnet thing.
The 400i is good because an LS swap is very very easy since it used the same TH400 transmission from the Chevy Suburban of the time.

I was almost to argumentatives with a F360 owner who had owned things like the 328 and 348 and now his 360. I discussed the merits of the 308 gt4, the origional v8 model from the 70’s before Magnum PI existed and they only built 2400 of them. He pronounced it to be a mondial parts bin car. I thought him to be foolish as the 308gt4 was its own parts and there was neither a bin of parts to pick from. However, he did have a point. It may look good, but the Mondial was indeed a parts bin Ferrari entirely for mass production to put a car with the F name in the hands of everyone out there so their more expensive models would be extra desireable...in theory. Now, we all mostly know this. And guess what? I’m with you and I like it’s looks too.
I dig the quad pop up lights, but, for me, I still want a 308gt4. Possibly in silver or blue, but with 2400 worldwide built, I can’t be too picky.

Oh, but there is. If you can figure out how to get a non Ferrari engine onto a Ferrari transaxle you’ll have yourself a car which will miss out when Mondial values go through the roof. Which they will.
