These are like the 2nd gen Micro Machines. I remember when the first few runs were much smaller and had far less detail.

Yeah I remember those too. Like the ones in the original Home Alone movie.

One Christmas I got two identical sets of mico machines by total coincide - one from “Santa” and the other from my Grandma who lived very far away.

This was my favorite. The B-17. I think I was like 8 years old when I got it for my b-day.

Clearly Santa and Grandma weren’t on speaking terms.

I have a substantial collection of ‘70s-’90s MicroMachines, and after it dawned on me how much the planes/choppers and bikes weren’t to scale (understandably so) I stopped seeking them out. Now, though, I have an entire Amazon wish list devoted to them, and sets I could have gotten for a few bucks back in the day” are at least $20.

Awesome! I have a bunch of Gulf War era Micro Machines from back in the day. I need to find a way to display them.
