If you decide to do the Modern Hypercars for one of your career volumes, make sure you don’t choose the Hennessey Venom if there’s going to be a rainy course. I had to replay the race on the ‘Ring at least four times - even with rewind - because the car revs so high that it spins its tires at the end of every gear up to 3rd. Tuning or shifting early could probably have fixed that, but then it would just be slower in general, and there were exactly three Drivatars who were impossible to beat while taking it easy.... So yeah. The Venom does not like water.

Neither does the LaFerrari.
Nor weirdly does the Raptor.
Understeer with 100% more under.

That’s actually with TCS on. I can’t imagine trying it without.

I’d add that doing the modern hypercar on the city course is plain stupid.
The LaFerrari, the Venom and the P1 don’t like cobbled streets.

How is it spinning the tires with TCS on? You should see the little TCS light blinking (assuming the game has one), but the wheels shouldn’t be spinning. I remember in Forza Horizon that car was nearly impossible to drive (quickly) with TCS off, but with TCS on, once it kicked in, it was a beast for the class it was in on any fast circuits because it would haul down the straights.

It’s the rain. It works fine in dry weather, but the TCS just doesn’t do quite enough on water.

That’s funny, I picture the traction control system being like “... but captain we can’t can’t reduce the power any further! She can’t make any less... and we’ll burn up the brake if we try to hold her back!”
...I have yet to play the game... but hope to do so soon!

Right so TCS on, STM on, and anything but the Venom. I think LaFerrari is calling me.
