So yeah don’t get any work done here. If your car is on fire and there’s a fire truck in front of the place keep driving. They messed around with my exhaust, decided they didn’t want to do the work I asked (which they actually had wrong on the repair order, so if they had wanted to do it they would’ve done the wrong thing) which is fine, but they didn’t bolt my exhaust back up.

That clamp was unbelievably tight when I dropped the car off. Probably the tightest bolt in that whole system. Just to give you a frame of reference, the left side of this photo is the front of the car. This is right after the exhaust manifold. Imagine all the shit I could’ve caught this on.

That bolt on the right doesn’t have a nut. Did when I dropped it off.

Luckily my friend lives right near by, so we got to fix the 240 with his tools, and take about 4 hours doing it, just so I don’t have to do this again.

Anyway, this was the RO that was waiting for me when I picked up the car. The car was parked in such a way that my stock height Focus ST would’ve had trouble getting out.

I originally posted it because I thought the camber comment was funny, because my tires aren’t worn at all, but a couple people brought it to my attention that if they used that type of language on an RO the service writer where they work would have their head. So there’s that. It should also be noted I didn’t ask for an inspection (New Hampshire state inspection or otherwise) or his opinion. I have high quality extended lower control arms. The camber isn’t a mistake or “messed up” suspension.

Have you considered tracking down those responsible and carving their hearts out with a spoon?

Also, you should’ve learned from DeMuro that taking your Japanese vehicle to an actual business to have work done on it is a letdown.

Letdown is cool. Letdown was telling me they didn’t want to work on it. Not attaching my exhaust is kinda dangerous. For me and other people.
