I’m headed out of town this weekend and I can’t get to all the necessary maintenance I need to do in time so I took my cruiser to a place that came highly recommended, I have a feeling that it’s in good hands based on the parking lot.
And the guy who’s working on my truck drives this
Getting a decent deal too I hope. ALL fluids changed out for $250...cruisers have a LOT of fluids.

That’s not bad at all. The shop by my office was going to charge me that to just do the differentials. (I did not accept).

I want an FJ60 so badly. My best friend’s family has one, and we used to enjoy the hell out of that thing in the central Arizona desert and northern Arizona forests. They are simply amazing.

Yeah, unfortunately I won’t be in the place for one for a couple more years. Hopefully they don’t jump in price too much by then.

That blue FJ60 looks really nice.
The HJ60 and HJ61 generation Land Cruisers are quite common sight here but unfortunately they have diesel engines. Let’s trade. Send some rust free FJ60s and we’ll give you weird van conversion HJ6xs.
Why van conversion? Because the diesel taxation. They don’t always have that roof heightening piece as the necessity depends when it was converted. Back seats have either vanished or replaced with “temporary seats” during the conversion.

The grass is always greener I suppose, we pine for the diesels here...mostly because of range. Besides it’s not the the 3f is exactly a tower of power

If you aren’t well versed in the current market, you’re in for a shock. It seems any 60/62 without rust goes for at least 8 grand

The issue is garage space. Hopefully I can convince the girlfriend that we need to find a place with at least a one car garage once we move in together next summer. However, then it’ll be a debate between an FJ60, AE86, or E30/36 track car...

Yup. so far he says he found bad rotors (2 of 4) and a bad trackbar bushing. might explain my vibration.
