Over on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , there is a question about which once common old car you don’t see anymore. That got me thinking, which old car do you still see everywhere?

Around here (NC) old square body Chevys, and Ford’s from the same era are still pretty common. I also see a couple old Beetle’s and some of the 1967 - 1972 Chevy Trucks around.

What about you. Oppo?

These, where on earth did all of them go?

Kinja'd!!!

I see the previous and later generations all the time.

Also, Hummer H2s have (thankfully) all disappeared.

It comes as no surprise to me that this truck has Nebraska plates, because those things are everywhere down here.

Can’t say the same about H2’s around me... Then again they were built just down the street.

When gas prices plummeted a couple months back I suddenly began to see 1 or 2 around, I was afraid they’d make a comeback. Luckily they didn’t.

Lots of old trucks of all ages, shapes, sizes, and makes cruising around out here. Farming area. There are also a bunch of old square GM B-bodies for some reason.

How are we defining old? Honda CA Accords are like cockroaches. This is one of about 10 for sale under $1000 on my local Craigslist.

I still see these things everywhere and the newest ones are 26 years old. They actually overlap partially with the NC GM trucks.

Those trucks are also still very common here in South Texas. In fact I think I see more of them still on the road than GMT400’s.

Also Volvo 240’s. Thse were a pretty common site in middle class neighborhoods before the rise of the SUV, and I see a lot of them still doing DD duty.

And I still see a lot of W123 Benzes, but I don't know if those were really common to begin with.

80s Town Cars are still very common. Not so much the earlier ones like mine, but the facelifted ‘85-89 models seem to be one of the more frequently seen ‘80s cars on the road. I’ve actually passed four of them in traffic in the past week, and I’ve only seen about 4-5 other cars from the same decade in the same time period.
