400HP in a fox body, that must be crazy fun. Personally I’ve found that 305HP is more then enough for public roads.

But then again maybe it isn’t. My opinion changes on this everyday. Same with my exhaust, one day I’m perfectly compliant but some days I just want something really loud and nasty. Now thanks to you I’m spending the rest of my night looking at Fox body’s and exhaust.

Sounds like it’ll be fun! Both are great engines, I guess it depends on what year you get. 4V 4.6’s shouldn’t even be a question, I’m a little biased but they were best N/A factory 4.6. If it was a 96-98 4.6 you might as well look at the older 5.0’s.

Or you could just find an older 4 cylinder Fox and stuff a new Coyote/Roadrunner/Voodoo in there. That’s something I dream of doing one day.

Never go with a ‘96-98 4.6 ever. I’m talking regular ‘00-04 4.6 with PI heads against a 5.0, because they’re close enough stock.
