Just took the regular route today. But the traffic was lighter than usual, and the air already carried an autumn breeze. The radio played friendly, familiar melodies, at a volume only discernible at a stoplight. Once the pace picked up, the tunes gave way to engine revs and waves of wind. Everything was just fantastic.

Where did you take your weekend drive?

p.s. No one seemed to be using the Sunday Drive tag, so, let’s see if “Weekend Drive” takes better. More inclusive that way.

Wow, nice one! What kind of mesh is that? MSW? Cool e24 too.

Beautiful, understated and clean E30. The gold BBS are the perfect contrast.

Was on call this week for work but next weekend - river canyon and mountains for the changing leaves and M power connection.

Thanks for the stoke!

They’re Compomotive CX500s. He switched to lugs and bolts, and had to run a weird hub ring size, but they fit and look fantastic. Thanks! The e24 was mine, I sold it recently. 5 speed 633csi

That’s lovely mesh. I originally started looking for an e24, but after 2 years of fruitless searching for a nice one, had to sidestep to an e30. An e24 is still in my (distant) future.
