Of course they’re brand new tires, too. I pulled a couple of good-sized nails out of my rear tires today. The ironic thing is that I often have a bunch of bolts and screws scattered about the garage floor, but the two that got me are some other idiot’s hardware. Ugh.
Fortunately they’re in the tread so they can be patched, but now I have to dismount them and take them into the tire shop so they can dismount the wheel, scratch the hell out of my rims, patch the hole, remount the wheel, and scratch the hell out of my rims one more time for good measure.
...or I could use one of those sticky rope plugs and just hope for the best.

Silly lions. You don’t know how to change a tire. You don’t even have a lug wrench. Yes, you found the spare - well done. Now what?

They’re just waiting for them to open up the car so they can get the Jack out (I assume Jack is the driver, though maybe one of the women prefers Jack to Jackie).

They may be envisioning what they can do with it once it’s fixed a la the Far Side grizzlies. Less to imagine, but more immediate human in the way.

A few years back I blew two at the same time on a forest service road. Fresh gravel. We were 50 miles from anything and about to minutes later a friend just happened to drive by. She was lost and just out driving.
