I just discovered the importance of using a brush to clean wheels!!
Amazing!! :D
Also a word of advice when using Klasse sealant glaze:
(LOOK HOW SHINY IT IS)
Definitely top it off with a coat of wax when you’re done. The water spots are stupid light, can be rubbed off with a finger, but definitely finish with at least a spray wax if anything.
I’ll be correcting all this and more when I get off work.

The worst part of getting your car this shiny, is that the reflections off the mirror-finish hood are really distracting.

I’ve a set of Wheel Woolies I got two years ago and still going strong that get right in behind the wheels that I wouldn’t do without, a regular soft brush will do the wheel facings and wheel nut recesses but God I love my Wheel Woolies.

The driver. Though with a car as eye-searingly red as yours, you may be distracting other drivers when they look at it go by.

I noticed I lost a miniscule amount of hairs going through the 944 and ST this afternoon. Perhaps I was too rough with the tool. I just can’t believe I hadn’t done this sooner! So much easier than trying to reach those spaces with a towel.
Why do you think I got those water spots even with two coats of sealant? It’s not any trouble, but I’m curious.

Really? Is there some kinda science and stuff to back this up? I never knew this before. It definitely helps me pop out against all the other neutral-colored cars.

Wheel Woolies are a dream to use. No fling back in your face or deterioration of the brush.
To a degree you’ll always get water spots. It’s the tiny particles of dirt and dust in the rain (did you know it can’t rain of snow without dust in the air for the water vapour in the clouds to bond to, making them larger until they reach a critical mass that they fall from the sky as rain and dust itself can be carried in the air from North Africa all the way to North and South America).
So always keep a few cloths and some quick detailer in the car. Post of the spots will get carried away when it rains next.

I’ll have to go back and buy a wheel woolie when I get the chance. Another question. I have a box of dirty microfibers, and only one clean one left to use. How do you clean yours?
Also, that’s the best science lesson I’ve had this weekend! I never knew that at all.

Regular detergent (don’t use as much as you think you need) in warm water, no bleach, no softener, add white vinegar in rinse cycle, dry without other types of towels.

You can buy microfibre wash from many car detailing sites. In the U.S. Poorboys do a good one (used it myself) but a non bio wash at 40 degrees with no softener of fabric conditioner will do, light tumble dry to remove excess water but best to hang them outside to dry. When dry check them for any debris caught in the fibres and remove if you can or throw away or only use on wheel arches and the engine bay if you can’t.
