Until your velocity stack falls off during a test ride because you forgot to tighten it enough. Spent 45 minutes combing my 7 mile path. Holding up traffic and all (kidding, it’s all 3 lane wide roads).

Never did find it. Guess I have to order new ones and scratch off tomorrow’s ride. Knew I should have kept the old filters around.

Not the only one who had motorcycle problems tonight. Swapped my bike over to pod filters. As part of the process I had to move some wiring around and now my bike won’t start. Could be as simple as the CCAs on my battery are too low to bad starter motor or starter/solenoid.

Spent three hours trying to solve the problem. I managed to hotwire the bike and get the starter motor to crank a bit but then I pussed out and pulled the wire.

Lol. I had that happen once. Spend hours checking everything possible with a volt meter except the damn fuses...

It was a blown fuse.

I checked the fuses. Well, that is before i hot wired the bike. My solenoid clicks and i was able to bypass the solenoid and get the starter motor to crank a bit so I really think my CCAs on my battery are too low. I’ll reassess tomorrow.
