Is that only two slices of meat? I thought the minimum required meat slices are 4

This weekend is Super Sandwich Sunday. It occurs annually on the Second Sunday of September.

It’s actually 3. Since I was pan heating/frying/whatever I wanted to make sure the meat got hot/no cold spots without burning the bread

Ah yes. Very similar to pizza huts “all the toppings you want!” But we are going to cut you off at 5 because the pizza doesn't cook right with more

Ham, cheese and pickle with a touch of mayo. Om nom nom.
But when I say pickle I don’t mean pickled gherkin but the likes of Branston Pickle.

It’s true. The big offenders are ham and pepperoni since they have the greatest surface area of the available toppings.
When I worked at papa johns in high school wed occasionally get people who would order 5X pepperoni when we had the 5 topping deal. Had to explain that wouldn't work and people got mad.

Never had it or heard of it but pickles do generally go well with ham and cheese

Oh, it’s very nice. There’s a smooth one with finer chunks in but the regular has good size chunks in to provide that extra crunch. It’s a tangy pickle spread that adds that extra flavour. It’s probably a British thing so might be able to get some at a British shop in the U.S.
